Missouri 2nd Congressional District

The Republican representing Missouri’s 2nd Congressional District heads back to Washington for a sixth term.

Incumbent Republican Congresswoman Ann Wagner is being challenged by Democratic state Rep. Trish Gunby in the 2nd District — which became more Republican-leaning after redistricting.

The Ballwin Republican is squaring off against Democrat Trish Gunby in the 2nd Congressional District, which takes in portions of St. Louis, St. Charles and Warren counties as well as all of Franklin County.

The St. Louis County Democrat is one of two candidates in her party's primary in Missouri’s 2nd Congressional District.

Samuels had been the top Democratic fundraiser to represent the St. Louis-area district, which was competitive for the past two election cycles.
