We are bringing together the Black community in and around College Hill who have been disproportionately impacted by the 5/16 tornado and are facing a crisis regarding conditions of life. We don't need charity, we need reparations and solidarity with self-determination for our community.
Black Power Blueprint at the Uhuru House' is a main, post-tornado disaster relief center in North St. Louis, serving the black community. Accepting drop offs of donations at the Uhuru House, 4101 W. The Foundry Art Centre and Oasis Studio and Gallery are teaming up again to present the Second Annual Tattoo Arts and Crafts Fair, a part-tattoo/part-convention/part-arts-and-crafts fair to bring together the best tattoo artists and craft artisans to the St. Louis-St. Charles region.
Over 43 booths presenting tattoos and fine arts and crafts, along with live demonstrations, food trucks, Foundry bar, art activities for all ages, and more will be featured throughout the Foundry’s Grand Hall.
The Tattoo Arts & Crafts Fair will be held Friday, August 22nd, 2pm-9pm; Saturday, August 23rd, 12pm-9pm; and Sunday, August 24th, 12pm-8pm.

The German School Association (Deutscher Schulverein) of Greater St. Louis, Missouri is an independent nonprofit corporation providing superior German language instruction and exposure to German culture, customs and traditions for children and adults in a professional, collegial and friendly setting. Students learn in a supportive environment that nurtures curiosity and creativity and fosters global awareness, and provides an international and intercultural environment and a forum for American-German friendship. The goals of our education are multilingualism, tolerance, international understanding, and openness to the world.
Classes are available for kids (ages 4+) and adults. Virtual classes take place on Thursday nights from 6-9pm. In-person classes are held in Kirkwood, MO from 9am-12pm.
