The Foundry Art Centre is partnering with Two Plumbers Brewery + Arcade to transform the galleries into an arcade, showcasing the history and artistry of arcades and home gaming systems.
From Atari to Xbox, visitors are invited to explore the complex world of gaming through play. A variety of cabinet games, pinball machines, interactive wall projections, home gaming systems, gaming memorabilia, and artwork inspired by the love of the arcade will all be on exhibit.
Special highlights include weekly featured game competitions for fun prizes and a special, custom-built pinball painter for visitors to create one-of-a-kind artworks WITH a pinball machine!
The opening reception of Art of the Arcade with Two Plumbers Brewery + Arcade will be July 7th, 5-8pm, with live music, art activities, the Foundry Bar and more.

Inspired by the fairytales of the Brothers Grimm, composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim and book writer James Lapine upend the "Happily Ever After" trope to unearth the doubts, fears, and longings that undermine prepackaged morals. Winner of three Tony Awards and the 1988 Drama Critics Circle Award and Drama Desk Award for Best Musical, Into the Woods is a story of our time. In our current moment of social unrest and political polarity, this fractured fairytale challenges us to grapple with ambivalence and uncertainty without losing our humanity.
