St. Louis, MO – An Amber Alert continues after being issued Tuesday morning for a 13-year-old boy who went missing Monday in Franklin County.

The sheriff's department says it considers William "Ben" Ownby to be endangered and possibly kidnapped.

He was last seen getting off a school bus with a friend in the Franklin County town of Beaufort; A witness saw the boy being pushed into a small white truck with a camper shell that then headed east on US 50.

Ben was last wearing a Rams hooded wind-breaker and jeans. He also wears jeans, is 13 years old, stands 4'10", and has brown hair and blue eyes.

Those with information can call 911 or the Franklin County Sheriff's office at 636-583-2567.

The FBI plans to compile a portrait today (Wednesday) of the kind of person likely to have abducted Ben.
