Last week, the Missouri state Senate joined the House in clearing the way for qualified Missourians to carry concealed weapons.
Lawmakers overrode Governor Bob Holden's veto of a measure originally passed in May, making Missouri the 45th state to allow hidden handguns.
As KWMU's Matt Sepic reports, the new law has many restrictions, but gun rights groups are praising it as a step in the right direction.
