St. Louis, MO – The bridge that takes Dougherty Ferry over I-270 is now closed in preparation for a big weekend of demolition.
All of I-270 will be shut down this weekend at that exit so crews can remove the bridge. Traffic will be diverted to the exit and entrance ramps at Dougherty Ferry.
The $6.1 million dollar project will see a new bridge built with seven lanes, instead of the current four, along with new exit and entrance ramps. Work is scheduled to be completed no later than Labor Day weekend.
