St. Louis, MO. – The new chairman of the Missouri Democratic Party is St. Louis attorney John Temporiti.
He succeeds former Governor Roger Wilson as the Democrats' chairman.
Temporiti served as chief of governmental affairs to St. Louis County Executive Charlie Dooley until January.
That's when he left to join the law firm of Gallop, Johnson and Neuman.
Yolanda Wheat of Kansas City was elected as vice chair.
She's a community activist and attorney and also the wife of former
Congressman Alan Wheat.
