St. Louis, MO – Governor Matt Blunt will make eight stops across Missouri Monday and Tuesday to sign and re-sign into law new limits on lawsuits.
The restrictions apply to lawsuits that seek damages for matters like car accidents, medical malpractice, and faulty products.
The legislation caps pain and suffering damages at $350,000; it also requires plaintiffs to file their cases in the county where the injury took place.
Blunt's St. Louis stop is set for Tuesday morning.
