Foundry Art Centre
10:00 AM - 05:00 PM, every day through Feb 21, 2026.
January 2, 2026
The Foundry Art Centre is delighted to start the 2026 exhibition year with two captivating new exhibitions: Chris Wubbena’s Admix and Leah De Matta’s Waspaganda.
Chris Wubbena is an interdisciplinary artist based in Jackson, Missouri. In Admix, he presents an expansive exhibition of his work created over a span of nearly thirty years, including large-scale metal fabricated sculptures, mixed media and found object small-scale sculptures, and never-before-seen cinema pieces.
St. Louis-based artist Leah De Matta’s exhibition Waspaganda brings the small lives of insects into the foreground of human experience. By highlighting diversity and physiology, her exhibition portrays insects as ecosystem caretakers, genius architects, and recyclers of life.
These new exhibitions will open on Friday, January 2nd, 5-8pm, as part of the Foundry’s First Friday programming. Art activities, music, the Foundry bar, and more will be available throughout the evening.
Admix will be on view in the Main Galleries through February 21st; Waspaganda will be on view in the East Gallery through March 28th.
