St. Charles, MO: The Foundry Art Centre is set to spark creativity and warm up winter with the return of Fire Arts Fest, a bold, one-night-only celebration of fire as an artistic medium. Taking place on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., this second annual Fire Arts Fest will transform the Foundry’s campus into a glowing winter playground filled with art, energy, and community connection.

Known for its innovative and immersive arts programming, the Foundry Art Centre invites the public to experience the mesmerizing interplay of flame, light, and heat through live demonstrations and performances. From molten glass and fiery ceramics to scorching metalwork and explosive firework paintings by featured artist Kyle Selley, Fire Arts Fest highlights the raw power and beauty of fire-based art forms.

Outdoor Fire Experiences:
Guests are encouraged to bundle up and step outside to experience fire in its most captivating forms. Outdoor highlights include:
• Raku firing with the Lindenwood University Art & Design Department
• Pit firing demonstrations with the FAC Clay Club
• Metalsmithing demonstrations with artist Pat McCarty
• Fire performances by Ignited Arts
• Cozy s’mores stations for all ages
These high-energy demonstrations blend ancient techniques with contemporary artistry in a dynamic winter setting.

Inside the Foundry:
The heat continues indoors with immersive experiences for all ages. Visitors can explore the Bake Sale Maker’s Market, featuring local artists and food vendors whose work incorporates heat or fire into their process. Additional indoor highlights include:
• Live glassblowing demonstrations with Third Degree Glass
• Encaustic painting demonstrations with Dee Levang
• Hands-on art activities for all ages
• Interactive fire safety demonstrations with the St. Charles Fire Department
• Live music by Polly & the Pocket
• Food and beverages available from the Foundry Bar

As dusk settles in, Fire Arts Fest transforms into a dazzling spectacle of light, movement, and creativity. Guests are invited to connect directly with artists, participate in interactive experiences, and witness the raw energy of fire-based art in action.
