School Bus Drivers Got Unemployment During Shutdown. Now Missouri Wants It Back
As a local union rep, Dan Thacker isn’t accustomed to dealing with unemployment processes. But when the COVID-19 crisis started hitting St. Louis hard 10 months ago, that changed. Thacker, the principal officer with Teamsters Local 610, encouraged the public-sector school bus drivers and monitors the union represents to apply for unemployment when schools shut down. They did so and were approved. Now those same workers are receiving letters from the state demanding the money back.

St. Louis Wants To Make It Easier To Charge Electric Cars
Owners of electric vehicles who live in or travel to St. Louis may soon find more places where they can charge their cars. The St. Louis Board of Aldermen earlier this month gave first-round approval to requirements for installing electric vehicle charging stations. A final vote could come Friday, and Mayor Lyda Krewson is expected to sign the measure.

Gov. Mike Parson announced Thursday that law enforcement personnel, firefighters, emergency medical technicians and other emergency workers are eligible to receive the coronavirus vaccine.
