DeKalb, Ill. – Authorities at Northern Illinois University say a suspect is in custody after a shooting on campus that left one person injured early Friday.
Last week marked the second anniversary of a shooting rampage at NIU that left five students dead plus the gunman, who took his own life
Today's shooting happened near a residence hall. Police believe it was an isolated incident between two individuals.
Officials issued a campus-wide alert shortly after the shooting, but the campus will remain open today.
