St. Louis – New York Times columnist David Brooks says this is a good time to do what he does. An historic presidential campaign, an economic crisis and the ongoing war in Iraq have renewed the public's interest in current affairs.
Brooks says that gives him plenty to write about, and talk about as a frequent commentator on NPR and PBS.
Brooks will be in St. Louis tonight (2/17) as part of Maryville University's St. Louis Speakers Series. He told KWMU's Bill Raack that while his job is fun, it can be challenging.
