Jefferson City, Mo. – Lawmakers in Missouri are gearing up for the start of the 2009 legislative session, which begins Wednesday.
This year will be a bit different, as the Republican-led General Assembly will face a Democratic governor for the first time in five years.
Foremost on the minds of legislators is Missouri's economy.
