St. Louis – St. Louis police are seeking a "person of interest" in the case of an abandoned baby discovered in a trash bin.

Police describe her as a black woman in her 20s who was wearing a white jacket, blue jeans and a headband, and possibly glasses.

She was last seen Monday evening at the Forest Park MetroLink station, which is less than a mile from where the baby was found.

A man in the Skinker-DeBaliviere neighborhood found the newborn baby late Monday.

Authorities say the child is in good condition.
