St. Louisans who might face foreclosure on their homes because of the sub-prime mortgage scandal can try to get some questions answered at a clinic Saturday.

U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill's office is bringing together realtors, bankers, and other experts to help answer questions homeowners might have.

McCaskill says she's not sure what action Congress will take to help ease the situation, so a clinic is a good first step.

"If they're nervous about being able to pay their mortgage; if they're nervous about foreclosure; if they're in foreclosure - this is some place they can come and ask questions that should not make them feel uncomfortable because they're going to be surrounded by other people that have the same kind of questions," McCaskill said, in an interview.

The event starts at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at at Harris-Stowe State University, in the Emerson Building.
