Illini win seventh straight 'Braggin' Rights' game over Tigers

St. Louis, MO – Illinois won its seventh straight Braggin' Rights basketball game Tuesday night in St. Louis by beating Mizzou 73-70.

Shaun Pruitt scored 19 points and had nine rebounds for the Illini. Jamar Smith added 15 points and Brian Randle had ten points and seven rebounds.

For Missouri, Stefhon Hannah scored a career-high 23 points. The Tigers are now 9-2 and have dropped their last two games.

Hannah lost control of the ball on the Tigers' final possession, with a chance to force overtime.

Warren Carter added 12 points and Chester Frazier had ten for Illinois, which improves to 11-2.
