Jefferson City, Mo. – Missouri Governor Matt Blunt said Thursday that tax relief is among his highest priorities for the 2007 legislative session.

Blunt declined to say exactly how large of a tax cut he hopes to propose, or what form it will take. The governor says he is reviewing several options for tax cuts.

In an interview with reporters, Blunt also listed a Medicaid overhaul and increased funding for education among his top three priorities for 2007.

The legislative session starts January 3.
