St. Louis, MO – The two main party candidates for U.S. Senate have agreed to a fourth debate.
Democrat Claire McCaskill and Republican Jim Talent will square off October 11th at Clayton High School at 8:00 p.m. The debate will be broadcast live on KWMU.
The two will meet tomorrow (Friday) morning in their first debate, at the Lake of the Ozarks. The two candidates also will appear October 8 on the TV show "Meet the Press" and will debate October 16th in Springfield.
Illinois Greens
In other debate news, the Green Party in Illinois has scored a minor victory.
Its nominee for Governor, Rich Whitney, will be part of a debate this month between candidates Rod Blagojevich and Judy Baar Topinka in the southern Illinois town of Marion.
