Kansas City, MO – Executions are still on hold in Missouri, as the state struggles to find a certified anesthesiologist to assist in the procedure.
That's because a judge recently ruled the doctors must be involved in executions to make sure they are carried out humanely. It's one of dozens of recent cases nationwide in which execution procedures have been challenged.
