10,000 still without power; 10th death blamed on storm, outage

St. Louis, MO – Fewer than 10,000 Ameren customers are without power this (Friday) morning, according to the utilty's website.

That comes as a tenth death is being blamed on the storms and power outage. Robert Graham, 69, fell Thursday while trimming trees in University City. He was from Hannibal and a self-employed contractor.

Graham was standing in the fork of a tree using a chain saw to cut a large limb. When the limb fell, it hit his ladder, causing him to lose balance and fall to the ground nearly 50 feet below. He died at the scene.

Other
