St. Louis, MO. – The St. Louis Election Board has picked two people to be the city's new election directors.
They are Democrat Mary Wheeler-Jones and Republican Scott Leiendeker.
The election board sets election policy in the city. The directors named today will run the office's day to day operation.
Wheeler-Jones most recently worked with the St. Louis Area Agency on Aging.
Leiendeker ran Republican Moira Byrd's recent unsuccessful campaign for state representative.
