St. Louis, MO – One of four men convicted of killing two sisters at an abandoned Mississippi River bridge is scheduled to be put to death October 26th.

The Missouri Supreme Court today set the execution date for Marlin Gray.

Gray and three other St. Louis men were convicted of pushing Julie Kerry, 21, and her sister Robin, 19, to their deaths off the old Chain of Rocks Bridge in St. Louis on April 4, 1991.

Gray's attorney is asking both Governor Blunt and the U.S. Supreme Court to halt the execution. She says Gray was not even on the bridge at the time of the killing.
