Maryville, Mo. – A baby found Friday Kansas is believed to be the one cut from her mother's womb in northwest Missouri Thursday.
Nodaway County Sheriff Ben Espey says authorities are awaiting DNA test results to confirm whether the girl is the daughter of Bobbi Jo Stinnett.
A spokeswoman at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka says the baby was taken there Friday afternoon.
Twenty-three-year-old Stinnett of Skidmore was eight months pregnant when she was found killed Thursday in her home.
An Amber Alert led officials to a home in Kansas where a baby was found Friday.
Espey says the baby appears to be in good shape. He says there's a chance the abductors might have been trying to sell the child.
