Cleveland, OH – The Rams clinched a spot in the playoffs Monday night with a 26-20 win in Cleveland.
They're now 10-3 and can win the NFC West title on Sunday with a win over Seattle.
Jeff Wilkins kicked four field goals for the Rams. Cleveland took a 7-3 lead, but then St. Louis outscored the Browns 20-0 in the second quarter.
Wilkins put the Rams ahead with his second and third field goals of the night before Aeneas Williams intercepted a Kelly Holcomb pass and returned it 46 yards for a toucdown. Then, 24 seconds later, Williams got a second interception, returning it to the Cleveland 20.
That set up the Rams' only other touchdown of the night: A 16-yard pass from Marc Bulger to Isaac Bruce. Bulger was 22-36 for 223 yards, and Marshall Faulk carried carried 24 times for 102 yards; his fourth straight 100-yard game. He also caught six
passes for 43 more yards.
The win was the Rams' fifth straight for the Rams.
