Jefferson City, MO – Missouri Governor Bob Holden fell out of a cart being pulled by an ATV Sunday afternoon. A spokesman says he was doing yard work at the time.
Spokesman Jack Cardetti says the governor had minor injuries and was resting at the governor's mansion last night after being treated at University Hospital in Columbia.
Members of Holden's security team took him by car to the hospital, where he was treated and then released around 9:00 p.m.
Cardetti says the governor will not change his schedule this week. He is scheduled to be in Hannibal, Springfield and Kansas City Monday, signing a series of proposals that make up a stimulus package for downtown areas.
