ST. LOUIS – Anyone wanting a piece of a St. Louis riverboat that was a casino may get their chance this weekend.
An auction scheduled for Sunday will part with pieces of the S.S. Admiral, including everything from crystal chandeliers, tables, chairs, cleaning equipment and kitchen appliances.
All of the vessel's gambling equipment have been cleared out by Las Vegas-based Pinnacle Entertainment, which last summer closed its President casino on the boat and sold the vessel.
An auctioneer said recently talks are continuing with a potential buyer of the boat.
KSDK-TV reports that Sunday's auction is to begin at 10 a.m., about 90 minutes after the vessel's doors are to open to potential bidders.
