ST. LOUIS – The Saint Louis Science Center will soon be looking for a new president.
The museum announced today that its top executive Doug King has accepted a position as president and CEO of the Museum of Flight in Seattle.
King has led the Saint Louis Science Center since 1995. During his tenure, he has helped the Center grow to become the fourth largest science museum in the nation, according to the chairman of the museum's board of commissioners, Ted Hellman.
The Saint Louis Science Center serves an average of 1.2 million people each year.
King will assume his new position at the Museum of Flight on January 1, 2011.
