St. Louis, MO – Downtown St. Louis boosters met on Wednesday to discuss future downtown development projects that have been sidetracked by the faltering economy.
Maggie Campbell is the President of the Partnership for Downtown St. Louis. She says 2010 will see the start or completion of a number of mult-million dollar projects.
"That includes the central library, a $70 million renovation, the redevelopment of the Union Pacific Building into apartments, that's a $109 million investment the Chemical Building which was the Alexa, that was built in 1898...they are going to start construction in 2010," said Campbell.
Campbell also highlighted the redevelopment of the Kiel Opera House and the One City Center Office Tower.
The international competition to redevelop the Arch grounds will also select a developer in 2010.
