Jefferson City, MO – Missouri Attorney General Candidate Chris Koster is moving forward, despite the uncertainty over whether fellow Democrat Margaret Donnelly will ask for a recount in Tuesday's primary.
Koster took part today in a candidate's forum for the Missouri Farm Bureau.
He says he plans to reach out to those who didn't vote for him.
"If I do the groundwork that I need to do, and reach out to Representative Donnelly's supporters, Representative Harris' supporters, and make sure that their interests are represented, then this Democratic Party can be united going into November," Koster said.
A spokesman for Donnelly says she will most likely wait until the results are official before asking for a recount.
Koster currently has 786 more votes than Donnelly, according to the Secretary of State's office.
