St. Louis, MO. – A 16-year-old was charged under the juvenile code Thursday, after allegedly hiding in a St. Louis woman's closet and then sexually assaulting her in her bedroom.
The teenager is charged with assault, sodomy, burglary and car theft.
Police say a 33-year-old woman was attacked in her home just after she put her own child down to sleep Tuesday night.
They say the teen had been hiding. He allegedly struck the woman with a blunt object and with what she described as a plastic hand gun.
Police say he sexually assaulted the woman and stole her car.
Police arrested two youths in the woman's vehicle Wednesday.
