St. Louis, MO – The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is expected on Thursday to shift control of the states largest public school district to an appointed board.
The decision over St. Louis Public Schools has been a long time in the works and emotions both for and against the move run deep.
As KWMU's Adam Allington reports, the question of governance may soon give way to a larger question of how to reform the district.
