Shiloh, Ill. – There will be a funeral today (Thursday) for the eight-year-old who died when a car crashed into the Shiloh Elementary School cafeteria this week in the Metro-East.
Services for second-grader Ryan Wesling will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Braun Colonial Funeral Home in Cahokia, Ill.
Ryan was killed Monday when a car authorities say was driven by 84-year-old Grace Keim of Belleville crashed through an exterior wall of Shiloh Elementary School and drove the width of the cafeteria.
Ryan died about an hour later at a hospital. Two other students, along with Keim, were injured. No charges have been filed.
Donations for the Wesling family to help with funeral expenses are being accepted at Regions Bank locations and at Shiloh Elementary School.
