St. Louis, MO – Claire McCaskill's campaign for U.S. Senate is finalizing plans for a St. Louis visit by former President Bill Clinton.

Clinton is expected to attend a rally Saturday morning at the Pageant, on Delmar.

McCaskill is challenging incumbent senator Jim Talent. Yesterday, she was at a rally in Springfield, Mo. with former Vice Presidential nominee John Edwards.

Talent, for his part, has also drawn big names in the campaign, including the President and Mrs. Bush, as well as Vice President Dick Cheney.

A Research 2000 poll conducted in late August suggested McCaskill Talent are in a statistical dead heat.

McCaskill's campaign hopes the rally with Clinton will result in an aggressive get-out-the-vote effort through November.

The rally will start at 9 a.m. at The Pageant (6161 Delmar Blvd.)
