St. Louis, MO – Lambert Airport officials are reminding travelers that the new bans on taking liquids onto flights applies in St. Louis, even though there are no direct St. Louis-to-Great Britain flights anymore.
Lambert is on an orange, or high, alert level.
People who buy something to drink at the airport have to finish it before getting on the plane, or throw it out. Liquids can be packed in checked luggage.
The new rules have meant some delays for passengers at airports across the country.
The plot, according to officials in the U.S. and Britain, was to bring down planes using liquid-made bombs.
