St. Louis, MO – School will be back in session Wednesday at an Ellisville elementary after a mysterious rash closed it down.
Ridge Meadows Elementary students were at home Tuesday after more than 30 students broke out in a rash Monday.
Spokeswoman Kim Cranston said the school has been disinfecting surfaces and brought in a health inspector but they're not sure what caused the rash.
There wasn't something where we could point our finger and say all of the children did 'x,' Cranston said. That's not how it occurred and they weren't even all in the same grade or with the same teachers.
Cranston says students who do have the rash should stay at home until it clears up, but she says school officials have heard most students are feeling better.
