st. louis, mo – A sorority at Washington University is offering to do community service work at the City Museum in downtown St. Louis. That's after several members allegedly got drunk there and passed out in front of children.

It happened about a week ago at a formal dance for members of Alpha Phi.

They were scheduled to have use of the eclectic downtown museum until midnight but were kicked out an hour early.

Officials at the City Museum officials say several sorority members were drunk, one girl passed out in front of a group of Girl Scouts, and others were seen throwing up in trash cans.

No discipline is planned, but the university says Alpha Phi will be monitored to make sure it follows its own sanctions.
