St. Louis, MO – A small fire in a laundry room sent smoke through the basement of Cardinal Glennon Children's hospital this morning (Thursday).
Patients did not have to be evacuated, but extra fire trucks were called in case an evacuation was needed.
One firefighter had minor injuries.
A fire department spokeswoman says the fire broke out in a laundry bin, but didn't spread too far beyond that.
