St. Louis, MO – President Bush will become the first sitting president to visit Poplar Bluff, Missouri today (Monday).
His trip to the south-eastern Missouri town is mostly the work of a man there named Hardy Billington.
Billington gathered more than 10,000 signatures on a petition and even put up billboards inviting the President.
The President will also visit Lee's Summit (near Kansas City), Sedalia, and Columbia on Tuesday.
