St. Louis, MO – Presidential politics will return to western Missouri next week.
Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry will speak at the Truman Museum in Independence next Thursday.
Vice President Dick Cheney will speak about the Patriot Act in Kansas City next Tuesday.
Kerry will lay out his plans for revamping the military to confront terrorists. It's part of an 11-day focus on national security that started this (Friday) morning in Seattle.
Cheney will speak at a trade center near Kansas City International Airport in a campaign stop for President Bush.
