St. Louis, MO – People in Jefferson and Franklin Counties, Missouri, can start applying to carry concealed weapons today.
They're the two newest sheriff's offices to start taking permit applications since the Missouri Supreme Court upheld the legality of concealed weapons.
St. Charles County is already accepting applications.
St. Louis County and St. Louis City are not. Officials in those counties say lawmakers or courts need to first settle questions over paying paperwork costs.
