St. Louis Archbishop Justin Rigali learned this weekend that he will become a Cardinal.
Pope John Paul II named Rigali as one of 31 new Cardinals, who will be installed next month in Rome.
Meantime, after more than nine years in St. Louis, Rigali will leave next week to become Archbishop of Philadelphia.
He spoke with KWMU's Hillary Wicai, and reflected on his time in St. Louis, which included dealing with the priest sex abuse scandal.
