St. Louis, MO – Missouri's Attorney General Jay Nixon is now threatening deadbeats with the suspension of their professional licenses.
Lawsuits filed Wednesday seek the suspensions for 19 parents, who are licensed to be everything from engineers to doctors to beauticians and even a professional wrestler.
Ten of the parents live in the St. Louis area; all 19 owe more than $800,000 in child support combined.
The suspensions would last until the support payments were made.
