CFA STL president, Kat McGrath, said, “We are very excited to host this competition for the 8th consecutive time.” The CFA Research Challenge is a competition that tests the equity research and valuation, investment report writing, and presentation skills of university students. This annual educational initiative promotes best practices in equity research among the next generation of financial analysts through hands-on mentoring and intensive training in company analysis and presentation skills and it will be an excellent opportunity for St Louis regional students to take part in this global competition. CFA Research Challenge provides opportunities for undergraduate students to take part in a regional competition which offers students the unique opportunity to develop and present an equity research report and to promote best practices in equity research among the next generation of financial analysts.
