A group of St. Charles residents started the process to recall Dan Borgmeyer on Wednesday. He says their accusations are unfounded.

Once the group receives its petition documents, it has six months to collect about 10,000 signatures for the recall to get on a ballot.

Riverpointe is a $350 million riverfront investment that is intended to redefine St. Charles’ historic town center as a destination.
