ST. LOUIS – A St. Louis-area high school is mourning the death of a 16-year-old student killed in a weekend car accident.
Authorities say Ella Neier of Washington died after the vehicle she was driving Friday night left a Warren County road and went into a pond.
Neier attended St. Francis Borgia High School, where she played basketball and soccer. She's the daughter of the school's basketball coach and physical education teacher.
Friends recall her love for music and dancing.
Grieving students from the school went there Saturday to pray in the chapel.
Services are pending.
