Edwardsville, Ill. – Metro East prosecutors have charged a man with three counts of reckless homicide in a weekend crash.
Authorities in Madison County said Donald Canterberry of Granite City was driving drunk Saturday near Fairmont City when he rear-ended a vehicle occupied by Lindsey Arnold-Zimmer, 24, who was five-months pregnant, and her husband Adam Zimmer, 26.
Police said the impact pushed the Zimmers' car into the path of a pickup truck. The pickup driver and Canterberry sustained minor injuries.
A prosecutor said Canterberry has at least four other DUI arrests in Illinois and other states. He's being held on $1 million bond.

A Tennessee girl who survived an unrelated Metro East wreck in which her family died is out of a St. Louis hospital after nearly three weeks.
Takia Jackson, 11, was in the a car with her mother, brother and her mother's boyfriend when another driver hit them head-on Feb. 5.
Investigators said Newton Keene, 46, was drunk while driving the wrong way on Illinois Route 255. Keene was charged with reckless homicide and is also jailed on $1 million bond.
