St. Louis – Aside from the Gateway Arch, St. Louisans never really embraced the modern architecture of the mid 20th century.
However, there is one home in Ladue, built in 1952, that's a spot-on example of midcentury Modernism.
A local architect saved it from the bulldozers and is in the process of restoring it.
