St. Louis, MO – Transportation officials from Missouri and Illinois have agreed to the construction of a new Mississippi River Bridge.
The two states have been trying to build a new bridge for years but have never been able to agree on how to fund it.
Now, sources say the states have come to an agreement but have yet to finalize the details.
MoDOT plans to hold a press conference on Thursday, where they are likely to announce the construction of a scaled down four-lane bridge.
