St. Louis, MO – The annual Braggin' Rights basketball game between Missouri and Illinois will be played tonight (Tuesday) in St. Louis.

Illinois has won the last six meetings (including last year's game by more than 30 points); this year Mizzou comes into the game with a 9-1 record. The Illini are 10-2.

Illinois coach Bruce Weber says the past doesn't matter when the game starts; he says the end-to-end style of play under new coach Mike Anderson makes the Tigers dangerous.

The Tigers have the school's best start in five seasons, but they're coming off their first loss -- 79-62 at Purdue on December 9.

That game was tied at halftime, but Missouri shot only 29% in the second half.

Illinois has a balanced attack led by Warren Carter at 14 points a game.
